Roniland
What is Roniland?
Roniland is a pesticide used to control a broad spectrum of agricultural pests, including aphids, caterpillars, and whiteflies. It is commonly applied in agricultural fields and greenhouses to protect crops from damage caused by insect infestations. Roniland works by disrupting the insect’s nervous system, leading to paralysis and death.
Why do I have an intolerance?
Roniland contains chemicals that may cause skin irritation, eye discomfort, and respiratory issues upon exposure. People who are sensitive to pesticides may experience allergic reactions, such as sneezing, coughing, rashes, or headaches. Inhalation of fumes or direct contact with the skin can exacerbate these symptoms, especially in individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions like asthma.
What can I do about it?
To minimize exposure to Roniland, always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, goggles, and a mask. Apply the pesticide according to the manufacturer’s instructions and avoid application on windy days to prevent drift. If you are sensitive to chemicals, consider using natural pest control options, such as neem oil or insecticidal soaps, which are less likely to cause adverse reactions.
