Exhaust Vapes & Fumes (generic)

What is Exhaust fumes?

Exhaust fumes come from motor vehicles, power generators, and industrial machines. They consist of harmful gases like carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and hydrocarbons. Vaping fumes, though typically less toxic than exhaust fumes, can still contain nicotine, chemicals, and fine particulate matter.

Why do I have an intolerance?

Exhaust fumes can cause irritation to the respiratory system due to the presence of harmful chemicals. Repeated or prolonged exposure can lead to sensitivity or intolerance, causing symptoms such as headaches, coughing, and dizziness. Vaping fumes, especially when used indoors, can trigger similar issues, particularly in people sensitive to airborne pollutants.

What can I do about it?

To reduce exposure, keep rooms well-ventilated and use air purifiers to filter out harmful particles. Limit your time near sources of exhaust, like busy roads or parking garages. Encourage smoking or vaping outside to minimize indoor exposure.
