Fabuloso
What is Fabuloso?
Fabuloso is a popular multi-purpose household cleaner known for its distinct fragrances and effectiveness in cleaning various surfaces, such as floors, kitchens, and bathrooms. With a range of fruity and floral scents, Fabuloso is formulated to leave surfaces sparkling clean while imparting a fresh aroma. However, its strong fragrances and chemical ingredients can be problematic for some people.
Why do I have an intolerance?
Fabuloso contains chemical fragrances, surfactants, and preservatives, which can cause reactions in sensitive individuals. Those with respiratory issues, like asthma, or skin sensitivities may experience symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, headaches, or skin irritation. The intense fragrance can particularly be an irritant for individuals sensitive to synthetic scents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
What can I do about it?
To minimize reactions, use Fabuloso in well-ventilated areas to allow fumes to dissipate. If possible, wear gloves and consider a mask if you are sensitive to strong fragrances. For those seeking a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic cleaning alternative, a diluted solution of vinegar and water can provide similar cleaning power without the potent scent or synthetic additives, reducing the likelihood of adverse reactions.
