How do I reduce the toxins I am reacting to?
For helpful tips on Toxin Detoxing, you can use the Next Steps Ebook as a guide located on our welcome Members Portal Page HERE
Being aware of your toxins is the first step; the second step is to find which products contain them and when and where you may be at risk of exposure. You can then convert your old products to more natural products and see if any noticeable changes in your health occur. If you cannot locate the toxins and where and when your exposure is happening, you can consider the helpful tips below.
Helpful tips:
- Wear protective clothing if gardening or around chemicals.
- Avoid scented candles and any unnecessary perfumes.
- Wash your raw food thoroughly, such as fruits and vegetables. Extra measures: decant your fruits and vegetables in a bowl and soak in bicarbonate of soda and water for 1 minute to help neutralize pesticides.
- Try and purchase organic where possible.
- Ensure your vitamin and minerals are topped up to help bolster the immune system and tolerance threshold.
- Ensure animals and pets are cleaned and de-wormed where possible.
