I have an iodine deficiency, but in my heavy metals section, it is showing as red?
The vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids section of your report should not be confused with the heavy metals section of your report.
As seen in your heavy metals section report at the bottom of the page, it states: "Please note, these heavy metals should not be confused with minerals."
All of the heavy metals items are heavy metals or refined chemicals of organic compounds, altered in their chemical structure and classified as "inorganic." Iodine in the heavy metals section is classified as halogen iodine, which is commonly found in disinfectants and hand gels. As seen in your vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids section, the iodine mineral is classified as the iodine mineral, commonly found in seafood and seaweed.
