I specifically wanted to know if I am anemic, but the results do not include iron. Is there a way of telling if I’m anemic from the current results?
Unfortunately, we do not test for iron, due to the fact that iron is commonly found in the blood and not in the cells as such. Therefore, it would make much better sense to gain a higher level of accuracy by testing for iron deficiency via a blood test. We like to provide a high level of accuracy with our tests and it would not be fair to test for iron via a hair strand if that makes sense.
