My results show a sensitivity to "Garden Peas," does this include pea protein powders?
We currently do not test for pea protein (vegan) powders; as such, we cannot categorically state whether they may be classified as a sensitivity for you.
When peas are ground down into a powder and their protein content is extracted, their molecular structure changes. As such, it may be possible that while you are sensitive to garden peas, you may not be sensitive to the pea protein powder.
As part of a 6 - 8 week elimination diet plan, you can avoid all pea-related products and see if your symptoms improve.
