Squadron
What is Squadron?
Squadron is a systemic fungicide used primarily in agricultural settings to control diseases caused by fungal pathogens, such as powdery mildew and blight. It is absorbed by plants and distributed throughout their tissues, providing long-lasting protection against fungal infections.
Why do I have an intolerance?
Squadron contains the active ingredient kresoxim-methyl, which can cause skin irritation, eye discomfort, and respiratory issues in sensitive individuals. Inhalation or prolonged skin contact may lead to symptoms like dizziness, headaches, rashes, and allergic reactions. Individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions may experience aggravated symptoms.
What can I do about it?
To reduce exposure to Squadron, wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a face mask during application. Ensure that you apply it in a well-ventilated area to minimize inhalation risks. If you are particularly sensitive to chemicals, consider using organic fungicides like neem oil or copper-based solutions.
