What happens after 6 - 8 weeks of doing my Elimination Diet?
Re-Introduction Phase Week 8+
After you have completed your elimination plan, you may wish to reintroduce the red or orange items one by one. A reaction may take up to 3 - 5 days to surface, so it is essential to introduce each item singularly and wait 3 - 5 days for any symptoms to appear.
If you would like to fast-track your re-introduction phase, you may wish to opt for a retest. While some people may choose to be retested every 8 weeks, it is not always necessary because they become more in tune with their bodies over time.
Please note that you should never reintroduce items to which you are allergic. Consuming an allergic item can be fatal. Our test does not test for allergies as allergies are an immune system response. An allergy test requires a blood sample; therefore, our testing cannot test for an allergy.
