What is Almond Flour?
- Almond flour is made from the grinding refining process of the Almond nut. It is commonly used in "Gluten-Free" bars, baked foods, and foods.
- Almond flour is known to not contain Gluten.
- Almond flour contains a high lipid (fat) count. Almond flour has also been known to grow quicker mold spore count than whole almonds.
- An intolerance to almond flour may suggest an overgrowth to "unfriendly" bacteria, or a yeast and fungi imbalance.
