What is Buckwheat?

  • Buckwheat is a grain, commonly used in recipes for pancakes, blini, and pasta such as Japanese soba noodles, or in side dishes, soups, and salads.
  • Buckwheat is known to not contain Gluten.
  • Buckwheat has a high starch content along with tannins, rutin, and fagopyrins.
