What is Lactobacillus Acidophilus, and how do I address this?

Lactobacillus acidophilus helps to mitigate the growth of bad bacteria that can otherwise flourish in the gut due to illness or antibiotics. It may also help balance flora in the genital area, helping to prevent yeast infections. An imbalance in this strain may lead to issues in these body areas. Commonly found in yogurt and other fermented foods, it is also available in supplement form.
