What is Sour Cream?
- Sour Cream is a dairy product obtained by fermenting regular cream with certain kinds of lactic acid bacteria. It is usually made from cow's milk. Sour Cream is used in a lot of culinary dishes and can be bought on its own.
- Sour Cream contains 1 - 3% lactose. Sour Cream also contains friendly lactic acid bacteria.
- An intolerance to this item may indicate gut biome, yeast and fungi imbalance, or an inflamed digestive system, or too much lactic acid in the body.
