What is Streptococcus Faecium, and how do I address this?

Unlike the other gut biome strains, Streptococcus Faecium is a bacteria that is extremely common and is known to be found in the intestinal tract, genital tract and in oral cavities. An imbalance in this particular strain could be a contributing factor to digestive issues, urinary tract infections, and tooth decay. Keeping this strain in balance by consuming less refined sugars and carbohydrates and incorporating more fermented foods into the diet may help.
