Why do my results show calcium in heavy metals? Isn't calcium a mineral?
Yes, calcium is a mineral. As stated at the bottom of your Heavy Metals results page: "Please note these Heavy Metals are not to be confused with minerals."
Further information can be found inside the member's login portal.
Calcium as seen on your heavy metals section is in fact "calcium chloride" which is a derivative of calcium and an inorganic compound. Not to be confused with Calcium as the mineral found in dairy products. Calcium chloride is commonly found in: laundry detergents, stain removers, fabric softeners, dishwasher detergents, ice melts, moisture absorbers, deodorants, facial serums, toilet bowl cleaners, fish tank and aquarium supplements.
