Zinc is showing as red on my results, isn't zinc a mineral?
Zinc is also a mineral. Under the heavy metals section of your results, we are testing for Zinc Oxide, which is an inorganic compound. Not to be confused with zinc found naturally in foods. It is commonly found in, cosmetics for skin issues, cosmetics, wipes, diaper rash treatments, nail products, bath soaps, and foot powders.
Other names that are used for zinc oxide are Zinc white, calamine, philosopher's wool, Chinese white, flowers of zinc. Please be sure to read the back of ingredient labels.
